2026/27 Auditions Richmond Youth Concert Band

We’re excited to announce Auditions for our upcoming season. If you’re looking for a vibrant, high-level musical experience with a supportive community of young players, this is your chance!

📅 Audition Deadline: May 29, 2026
🌐 Auditions will be occurring in person at Palmer Secondary School. Please select a Preferred Audition Date from the dates below.

🎼 What You’ll Need to Prepare:

  • Scales: Bb, Eb, and F major
  • Prepared Piece: 16 bars of your choice (any style!)
  • Rhythm Exercise: Clap a provided rhythm (see your instrument PDF)
  • Melody Exercise: Perform a short melody from the provided PDF
