Audition Registration Form

• Have prior music training 

• Will be enrolled in Grade 8-12 in September 2024

• Will be enrolled in a high school music class in 2024/25

• Play one of concert band musical instruments: 

  Clarinet, Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Bass Clarinet, Oboe, Bassoon, Tenor Sax, Baritone Sax, Tuba, Alto Sax, Percussion, Baritone and Flute

Please submit your information by filling out the form below.  We would like you to submit a video from this link. You will need to log into your Google account to submit the video. We recommend using a computer to upload the video if you have difficulty logging into your Google account from your phone.

*Please note: if you are a current RYCB band member and played with us in the 2023/24 season, you are automatically accepted and do not need to send an audition video. If you would like to play a different instrument from this season, you do need to submit a video audition. Details for registration for the fall will be send during the summer.   

The RYCB is currently working on the plans for next year, including: 

• more concerts, 
• scheduled clinician training days (focused instrument instruction in small groups), and 
• team building 
• Collaboration between the REHB Director and RYCB Director to support student transition into RYCB

We are also working to confirm both the location and practice day (7-9pm) for the 2024/25 season which will run from September to May. We are considering either Monday or Wednesday practices. Please note your availability in the form below.
